Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 50)

Updated

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:

*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.

I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.

Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Thank you, I’ll try Walgreens, I hope it works. I have a feeling the bioavailability is higher in the Rhodes.

Re: Drew (# 982) Expand Referenced Message

The small ones with arrow/8 are NOT Rhodes. They are Hi-Tech/ Akorn. The Rhodes are ALOT bigger and have RP/b8. I take both but I think I prefer the Rhodes. But everyone is different. All I know is I haven’t used in 13.5 years and I was a stomp down junkie for 30+ years off and on…( mostly on :( ). Good luck to you and everyone else.

Re: Vic (# 984) Expand Referenced Message

I never had the 54/411 or Roxanne. I was on suboxone for many years before I switched to subutex. Thank you everyone for contributing. We can always learn from everyone else.

I have been on the BP now for a long time and I like them better then the 54\411 people who want the 54/411 are the ones who mostly abuse the drug and not use it the right way. They want to abuse them and they give everyone else a bad name.

Re: Goozer (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

I get them at one particular Walgreens but the other Walgreens out here gave me the orange oblong ones! Do you know who makes those orange ones? Also a rite aid out here gave me the small round with arrow and numbers on other side. It’s really crazy how hit and miss it is!

Oops I can see this is a old message and I hope you found what you were looking for. Also I was going to tell everyone that in the past I mentioned that my doc was giving me 60 subutex and 60 2 mg Xanax… Well not anymore... His PA that works for him and sees patients wrote a undercover cop posing as a truck driver those pills they give kids for add... I can’t remember name right now, so they got raided and are still open but have thrown me and everyone else under the bus.. He no longer will write me any Xanax and cut me off on this high ass dose! I had to find a psychiatrist who could write for Xanax and now am on 1 mg a day... I was terrified to get off them because I tried cold turkeying it a few time and thought I was losing my mind. Benzos are much harder to kick than Heroin for sure. But I’m amazingly doing ok on the 1 mg... Of course I barely sleep but I can deal with that because I’ve been insomniac for years. Ok just thought I’d fill you in... Hope everyone is well.

Hi I don’t know how old your question is but I did want to mention I see that Amazon has a pharmacy thing going now to where they deliver to your home..I do not know what brands they carry, as I don’t like that type of delivery stuff..I’d rather get them myself at pharmacy but maybe you could do some research into that. Thanks everyone!

Re: Bigman1115 (# 970) Expand Referenced Message

I’ve never got to try the Roxanne... only the orange ovals, Rhodes and hi tech. I’ve been on them so long I really don’t feel anything, I just don’t have any kind of cravings for opiates or my terrible way of life I lived for so many years. That’s another thing people don’t understand..no matter how bad it was out there when I was using, working the streets, homeless, etc, etc, unbelievably we still get addicted not only to the drugs but to the whole lifestyle... That was a biggie to get over in the beginning…I’ve been “clean” 14 years now and never could have done it without suboxone / subutex and change of location. God Bless!

Re: Davemp88 (# 950) Expand Referenced Message

I'm prescribed adderal and subutex, 30 mg and 8 mg, respectively. That seems to do right by me. Half a sub and half of an addy. Been doing it that way for the last seven years. {edited for policy reasons}

I have been following the Purdue/the sackler family bankruptcy Court cases that are going on now. My question is what will happen to the Rhodes buprenorphine 8mg. Will it still be available in the future?

Re: Jenb (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Hey... anyone out there on Subutex... I am currently on suboxone & have been for some years now. I am wanting to switch to Subutex simply for the pain relief, I have terrible pain in my hands. It's so difficult to find a Dr. that will even prescribe them any more! I live in Indiana, if someone has any info on any Dr's that work with subutex, please let me know, because the subuxone doesn't touch the pain!

Re: Thewagger (# 999) Expand Referenced Message

Wow, really, you think so? I have been on Rhodes like for four years at least then I went to different pharmacy and got the little hi techs and I did an experiment to see if they were any worse or better than the others and I’d say they are pretty much the same, maybe very very slightly less potent than Rhodes but they held me for 24 hours. I also tested the Activis ( orange oval ones) and they held me too…so I dont see too much of a difference between those three, or maybe my body is so ingrained with Subutex that I don’t notice a difference. I was also on generic suboxone pills for like 9 years before switching to Subutex. Also I’ve written on here a few times and just wanted to mention I was forced to go down from 4 mgs of Xanax a day to 1 mg of Xanax. I did it and I’m so happy I did it now but I was very afraid of the withdrawal from those bad boys..but I did really good. I’m also off my varied sleeping pills( bellsomra, little blue ones, and Dayvigo). So I’m very happy I don’t have all those different drugs in my body..also I’m still wondering what that dude meant when he said he does Subutex intranasilly..do people actually crush Subutex and toot them!? I did that a few times with Xanax and I thought my nose was going to fall off my head, it burned so bad. Ok have a good day all.
