Returning To Topamax For Weight Loss

I have been prescribed Topamax for binge eating. This will be my third time taking it. Each time I go off of it I do so believing I can conquer my eating disorder myself; however, I have been unsuccessful in breaking the cycle. Topamax helps me calm my cravings and balance my moods. I have read that it is not as effective the more times one starts and stops the medication. I have only back on the medication a short two weeks and feel a very little difference; perhaps I am inpatient because I know what I did feel like prior to coming off of it. Is anyone aware of its effectiveness once stopped and readministered with regard to binging and weight loss? Thank you.

Actually, the opposite is usually true, taking a break from a medication helps keep your body from growing tolerant to it, so it continues working when you start taking it again.
