Retin A Cream

I live in Brisbane Australia and am beside myself as I have been told by 'Johnson Pacific' that my precious 'Retin A' cream 0.5% manufactured by Janssen-Cilag has been globally discontinued. 'Retrieve' does not compare for me- it is made with a different base product, I have tried it and it does not work for me the way Retin A cream does. I have been using Retin A cream for over 20 years, originally for pimples, which is great- but the way it keeps my skin looking so clear, fresh and unmarked is amazing (I stay out of the sun)-i depend on this cream so much; does anyone know what the equivalent could be here in Australia or Over-Seas. Thanks.

Retrieve is the next best thing, there is a brand called SteviA or something along those lines but it's hard to find and constantly out of stock. U could try getting the doc to write an rx for a compound cream... One that u would get filled at a compounding pharmacy, perhaps that way u may find the particular base you're looking for.

Just seen your post on Retin A Cream. Did you find another suitable brand as I also used this cream for a long time with good results. It was discontinued some time ago but I also would like to use it again but not sure if there is a really good, safe alternative available. Many thanks - hope it is not too late seeing that your post was dated 2011
