Started out as stubbing my toe as I walked did not think much on it. I grew worse, felt like my socks were to tight and tingling in my feet. I would turn to walk and my feet did not follow. I learned to think about what I was attempting to do. No more of just stepping over a curb or walking up and down stairs without thinking first. Things that were natural before became difficult. Of course I went to my gp he said we will figure this out I just need to get you to the right specialist. After many mri's and visits to specialist that check my blood flow in feet and legs, cardiologists and nuerologists I was told there are some things we just do not know. Well after all of this I described my symptoms ag...
1 REPLY UpdatedDoes flexiril interact well with requip? ## There are no serious interactions listed, however, you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be sure. The only thing that is warned about is that they can both cause CND depression and respiratory depression, so when used at the same time, you should watch for problematic signs, such as trouble breathing, slowed pulse, sedation and slowed heart rate. Do you have any other questions?
1 REPLY UpdatedI love Requip, it helps my RLS, the reason I take it is so I can sleep without waking up with the Tingling, the only problem is, I wake up about 1-2 hours after taking it WIDE AWAKE and ready to start the day, this is very bad, not a good thing! Anyone know if you can take a sleep aid with this, or anything that would help me sleep all night while taking Requip? Any help would be appreciated.
UpdatedHave been on requip for about 8 weeks. Started off with 2 mg and am up to 4 mg per day. The requip stops the RLS for me but makes me so sick to my stomach. Even in the mornings I wake up and feel the need to vomit. Is it going to get better? ## Sure you're not pregnant? Only kidding! Unfortunately, that is one of the number one side effects, but it really will get better. How long have you been on the 4mg? That would make a difference because it can take up to 2 months for the nausea to subside after getting to a new dose. ## Have only been on the 4 mg for about two weeks now. I noticed the 2 mg at the end of the 4th or 5th week was starting to make me sick to my stomach. Oh NO, I am not pregnant - god forbid - hahahahha. Well, this is good news that the nausea will subside after aw...
12 REPLIES UpdatedWhat pill is this? I had a refill done at walmart pharm.for requip 0.5mg. This does not look like my normal pills. ## I cannot find a listing for this, however, I can tell you that the way a pill looks means nothing. Once a medication is available in generic form, it is usually made by many different companies and pharmacies will carry whichever one had the cheapest available when they were placing their restock orders. If you are in doubt, then please take your bottle to Wal-Mart and ask them to double check for you.

Did you experience this? ## i HAVE BEEN TAKING REQUIP FOR PARKINSON'S AND DEVELOPED RLS. ## bchambers, i am taking requip for RLS...and I am not seeing any results from it...I still awake in the middle of the night with pain in my legs...sometimes, I can not feel my arms or legs...it is very scary and sometimes I am very fearful of this. it is almost like paralysis...what if my house is on fire when this happens and I can not move? Maybe if you continue to take higher dose, then you should ask your doctor to try something else...hope it all work out for you. I am co...
7 REPLIES Updatedrestless leg syndrome medication ## I think you mean Requip ## Can you advise as to whether The Restless Leg syndrome pillRequib interacts in a negative way with Vicks Nyquil? Is requib amonoamine oxidase inhibitor? ## No, it is not an MAOI, and MAOI is a type of antidepressant.
3 REPLIES UpdatedPlease let me know if these two drugs are in the same family? ## Did you mean Flexeril? ## is the a genaric for requip ## The generic of Requip is Ropininol. It is only used for Restless Leg Syndrome. At the end of your sentence you say something like flexiaril. I thought perhaps you were referring to the brand name Flexeril, a muscle relaxer used for muscle pain, muscle spasms. Requip is strictly used for People who's legs move constantly when lying down, sitting down, especially when sleeping. They find it hard to sleep well because their legs keep on moving. Flexeril is used more for things like a back injury, very sore muscles, sprained muscles. Hope this helps. ## 4 me requip does remind me of flexiril, only thing diff. requip makes me sleepy,so i would not recomend day time tak...
4 REPLIES Updatedwould like to know why you have to keep increasing the doesage on requip started out with one low dose been three months and up to 4 pills a day now . does this mean this pill will quit working for me . was wonderfull at firs but then seemed to have leg pain all during day too ## I am having the same problem. Did you get an answer? ## Why can,t I have sex or get an erection?........ ## can you have sex or get horney? ## Why can,t I want or need sex. ## Unfortunately many meds do hit a limit of their ability to help you, your body can adjust to almost anything, which requires upping the dosage or trying a different drug. This is called building up tolerance, and it can be experienced with everything from Tylenol to narcotics.
5 REPLIES Updatedused for restless leg syndrome. I was also wondering if public aid would cover this cost for this medication. I would apprecitae it if you could let me know.
