I am using Loprin 75 for the last 5 years.
I am also using Lisinopril/HCTZ 20 mg ( for blood pressure) and Lipitor 20 mg (for Chloesterol) regularly.

In USA Aspirin (NSAID) is available in 81 mg. Can I use this in place of Loprin 75 mg. ??

Hello Qamar,

Based on my research there are potentially unsafe interactions between Aspirin and Lisinopril/HCTZ. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of:

"Before taking aspirin, tell your doctor if you also use lisinopril. You may need dose adjustments or special tests in order to safely take both medications together. If you are receiving therapy with this combination you should check your blood pressure and may need your kidney function monitored. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using your medications without first talking to your doctor first."

I hope this info helps!
