If she has high blood pressure, she will probably require medication for it, for the rest of her life. This is normal, it is a very dangerous condition that must be controlled, to prevent serious risks to her health and life.
Repace-H contains Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide and is most commonly used to help lower high blood pressure.
Common side effects may include: nausea, headache, stomach pain and dehydration.

My main concern is, that while the 140/95 isn't dangerously high, why isn't her doctor doing anything to bring it down, further?
It has been observed by me that her pressure always fluctate from 130/85 to 145/90 from begining of the week and gradually lessen down by the end of the week. Is this becuse due to the tension of her son's study/school.Doctor has prescribed her Repace-25 prior to Repace-H and along with this min.40 mins walk. But now the repace-25 is stopped and in place of that Repace-H was prescribed along with walking. Her body weight is 65 kg and height is 5ft3inch.
