It can have adverse effects on the liver, so it may not good for you take it, if you have elevated enzymes, already. Other possible side effects can include full liver failure, as reported by the FDA, flatulence and stomach pain.
I suggest you speak to your doctor and see if there is a safer alternative that you can take.
