Regular Serquil Vs Extended Release Serquil

I take 100 mg of reg serquel at night to sleep I have some 200 mg extended release serquel I'm kinda nervous about taking something that might b w me all day the next day if I chew them up or break them n half will that help the med go through my system quicker

No, that is definitely not safe to do! That could defeat the time release and cause you to get too much of the medication at once, which may result in a dangerous overdose. They must be taken whole/intact.

Has your doctor changed you to the 200mg or is that a leftover old prescription?

It is already with you all day, so to speak. But what in particular worries you about it?

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and weight changes.
