Regestrone Tablet For Irregular Periods

I am 36 yrs old . From the time I matured ( when i was 13 yrs old ) I have been having irregular periods and took various hormonal medication from my gynaec to regularise them. Till date after so many years I still have irregular periods. I am married for almost 10yrs and have not concieved. I get my periods once in 3 months and the flow is very heavy and lasts for more than a month . My gynaec has to prescribe hormones again for the flow to stop. Apart from physical exhaustion , I have to face lot of mental tension from my in-laws for my condition . The doctor says I have PCOD and prescribes me the hormones for either heavy bleeding or to induce menses when I dont get my periods for 3 months . How long can this continue . Please advise a solution . Its been so many years with this problem.

What tests has your doctor, run?

The PCOS can cause fertility issues. Have you tried using ovulation predictor kits? That way you will know when your most fertile time periods are, to increase your chances of getting pregnant?

Some women also require treatment to better control the levels of insulin in their bodies. Has your doctor looked into this, at all?
