I had irregular periods for like 3 months. My doctor suggested regestrone 5mg per day, but I still did not see my periods even 1 time. Please advise.

I am planning for a baby and my doctor told me to come in for a scan on the second day of my periods, but 32 days later i'm not getting my periods, so i did a pregnancy test, which turned out to be negative. So i took regestrone for 3 days and still i am not getting my periods. I am 32 years old and my cycles are every 26 to 30 days.

I have been married for 3 yrs and 4 months... I have irregular periods... I always take regestrone 5 mg for my periods to come... but now we are planning for a baby, so I have taken regestrone for 2 months before and after my periods. We recently had unprotected intercourse...but to this date my pregnancy test has been negative. So should i take regestrone again and have intercourse again.... Or i should not take this medicine?

My doctor prescribed sandoz regestrone 5mg tablets after my periods, on about the 20th day of my menstrual cycle. I want to get pregnant and am not sure why my doctor prescribed the tablet for me? I am prescribed one tablet daily for 10 days.

I took regestrone 5mg (made by Sandoz) for the last 15 days, twice a day, to stop heavy bleeding & more. 5 days to go until I complete a 20-day course. Are there any possible side effects? My Doc has suggested continuing treatment for 3 months. Is it safe? Does it increase your weight? I'm 43 yrs old.
