Refill On Prescription That Was Filled Late

I filled my prescription 3 days after the doctor wrote it. It has a refill. Can I get my refill based on the written date or the fill date? The script was written on 6/9 with 1 refill after 7 days and the script was filled on 6/13. Can I get my refill on 6/15 or 6/19?

No, the pharmacy will keep track and will not fill it according to the old schedule, they will go by the fill date, since you shouldn't be out, yet. Under current FDA and DEA guidelines, exceptions can usually be made for medications that are not considered dangerous, or habit forming, such as heart medications, or blood pressure medications, but even the final decision on that is up to your pharmacist.
