Redotex & Pentrexyl

Almost three weeks ago I began taking redotex with the hopes of loosing weigh along with exercise and changing my eating habits. So far lost 5 pounds (yay!) anyway I got sick last week and took Pentrexyl for a throat infection. Of course I stopped the Redotex for the past week. The last time I took Pentrexyl was four days ago. Is it safe to begin redotex again? I have sketchy feelings about having both the antibiotic still in my system and taking this crazy diet pill . Please help! How long does Pentrexyl last in the body?

I decided to run an interaction check between each of the ingredients listed in Redotex and that of Pentrexyl. Based on my research, there aren't any drug interactions listed between the two medications. So in my honest opinion it should be safe to use them both within the same time frame.

For verification, the ingredients are posted below:

Redotex is said to contain the following active ingredients: tri-iodothyronine (75 mcg), a hormone used to increase metabolism + norpseudoephedrine (50 mg), an amphetamine-like appetite suppressant + atropine sulfate (0.36 mg), a respiratory and circulatory stimulant used to treat allergies + aloin (16.2 mg), a laxative + diazepam (8 mg), the depressant more commonly known as valium.

Pentrexyl contains the active ingredient: Ampicillin. It is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections.

To answer your other question, Pentrexyl has an estimated elimination half-life of 1 hour (when 50% of the drug leaves your system). However most medications tend to be out of your system within a matter of a few days, depending on a number of personal factors.

I hope this info helps!
