The diet pill will cause your heart to accelerate and the birth control could cause hypertension and that combination in not good. Also taking any medication while taking birth control pills could get you pregnant due to loss of potency and interfere with its chemical structure.

To Mario..but what if ur taking birth control to regulate your period...? And take redotex just for ONE week..?

Seriously!!! ask your doctor or whom ever your getting your meds from, if you do the research as to cause and amount of weight, gain post BCP, you would not be wasting space with your silly questions, the answers your looking for clearly involve common sence which your lacking! This site I believe was intended for serious questions and support . Mario, you are correct with your response, again, answers that could be found on the bcp pkg

I LOST A TOTAL OF 6 POUNDS THIS WEEK AND THAT WAS WITH A DIET THAT WAS NOT VERY STRICT AND NO WORK OUT.

Seriously Bev,their not silly questions,other wise I wouldn't be asking.. If im asking is to make sure. Now ur basically saying its bad,but before Mario said anything you said you had taken bcp and redotex and u basically didnt have bad reactions,and that I shouldn't even be concern.so what the hell?

Clearly you did not read or understand my response, I did NOT have any problems with the meds or the bcps, reguardless of which med your taking, there is always a risk of SOMETHING, as for the weight gain if you DX the bcp, often people notice a slight weight lose when starting the pills, so the few pounds gained when you stop the pill is kinda a wash, if you put on alot of weight (30 ) or more, not likely from bcp, more like poor eating habits. My point is,, if you are that concerned, get educated from your docter and make a informed desision

I TOOK REDOTEX AND WENT FROM A SIZE 22 TO A SIZE 11 FEEL GREAT AND LOOK GREAT I TOOK THE MEDICATION THE WAY MY DOCTOR TOLD ME END EVERYTHING ITS GOOD

i started taking them abt a year ago.. i got to a doctor in mex. but u do need to take a break from them bc ur body will become amune to them...n also if u are taking a drug test. u test dirty i learned the bad way... but they do work, i was almost 190lbs, n i'm 155lbs.. like a i said ur body gets use to them u need to do some type of exersize,,, n be careful if ur taling other madications u dont know who they can react, i friend took one n didn't tell me she was on high blood pressure pills n she got really sick. i love them but plz have yourself be chked by a doc.

Has anyone taken these that weighs about 135 and only needs to lose about 20 lbs? My fear is they may be too strong for me? Also, if anyone knows of a reputable TJ doctor I can consult?

I'm not a doctor but taking 2 medications might not be a good idea. Especially if you plan on taking Redotex for 1 week only. I've been taking Redotex for exactly 1 month now and lost 35 lbs. I was wearing 44 size pants and ditched a belt that didnt fit anymore. Now I'm a size 40 and started to wear my belt again. If you can hold off on taking Redotex it would be best. Regulate your period first since that's more important.
