Red Spots From Incruse Ellipta And Milk Allergy?

Updated November 26, 2018

I am taking Incruse Ellipta 62.5mcg inhaler (1 puff by mouth per day). It makes me have red blood spots on both arms. I am allergic to milk. Could this have a milk-based inactive ingredient in it?

Hi Faye - According to the manufacturer's prescribing information document (PDF - page 21), it states that the inactive ingredients are:

- lactose monohydrate (contains milk proteins)
- magnesium stearate

Being allergic to milk, you could very well be having a reaction and should let you doctor know asap. Any rash / hives / swelling are all listed as more serious side effects. I hope this helps and best wishes!
