Red Oc 60mg Oxycontin Tablet. Need Advice!

Okay so first off I would just like to state that I am 6'2 179 Pounds and in good health. Next I would like to say that I took 4 Oxycodone 5/325 in one sitting maybe 3 weeks back and quit using the medication because my tolerance grew so fast. So now I have this 60 Mg oxycontin tablet that I obtained and I was just curious how it will effect me compared to the oxycodone as far as the time release. Also how many mg should I take to get a good euphoric buzz with out the feeling of throwing up.

As far as the time-release goes, OxyContin lasts for about 12 hours, but only part of the Oxycodone is released when the pill is taken. The rest of the drug is coated to slow down its release into the body, which is the reason it relieves pain for so many hours.

However, there's really no telling how this medication is going to affect you in regards to side effects, since Oxycontin does not have the same effect on everyone.
The 60 mg, 80 mg, and 160 mg strengths are inappropriate (and probably dangerous) for people who are not accustomed to opioid medications.

OxyContin is usually recommended only for twice-a-day use. However, it is often prescribed "off-label" for use three times a day (every eight hours).
