There doesn't seem to be a definitive ID on this pill, but I noticed others who were trying to identify this same red capsule and had found it to be Tylenol; I believe the dosage is 500mg, but I don't have enough information to confirm this.
Acetaminophen is the active ingredient found in Tylenol, so my finding appears to match what you have mentioned in your description.
