Hi Liz,
From what I've read, Peridone contains the active ingredient Domperidone and it is not used to treat pain. It is used to help prevent nausea and vomiting, as well as to increase intestinal motility and to promote lactation.

Is it possible that you were thinking of Palladone, which contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone (a narcotic analgesic)?
