Reaction Of Flushed Face To Methylprednisolone
UpdatedI'm on day 3 of a 6 day prescription of Methylpredisolone prescribed for acute bronchitis. My face is extremely flushed and I think it's the med. Is there any danger in stopping before any other symptoms should occur?
I'm not interested in subscribing to the health newsletter but hope you will still address my issue. Thank you

That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to the FDA and yes, it could be dangerous to stop it, rather than tapering it, as prescribed.
Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nausea, mood swings, and nervousness.
They are usually harmless and should go away a few days after you finish your course of treatment.
Are you on any other medications?
