i m suffering from soar throat since 2 days...i want to know can we take rantac 150? ...plz prescribe medicine...thanks

Rantac contains the active ingredient Ranitidine, which is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions, such as GERD, ulcers, heartburn and gastritis.

Therefore, it will only help with a sore throat if it has been caused by acidic irritation from your stomach.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence.
