Ranitidine And Pantocid Dsr Effects

I was suffering from Oesophagal reflux from quite a long time and one Ranitidine tablet daily controlled it. A few months back, I consulted my doctor and told her of other problem of constant wetness in the nostrils and an occasional runny nose. She said that all my complaints were that of an allergic condition and asked me to discontinue Ranitidine and have one Pantocid tablet daily in the morning. I have found total relief and on her advice have reduced the dosage to one tablet every third day. Three days back, I felt that I was going in for a cold and cough. Since I had not had Pantocid for 2 days, I took it that day and the very next morning I was free from any cold indication! I have a pacemaker that was implanted 11 years ago, but the medication I take for mild hypertension does not affect the Pantocid dosage in any way.

Pantocid-D SR contains the active ingredients Pantoprazole and Domperidone, it is used to treat conditions such as heartburn, GERD and ulcers.

It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.
