I am taking this antibiotic. It is ciprofloxacin HCL 500 mg.

I recently developed an allergy reaction toward Cipro (RX710). It has been five days since my last dose and I am still getting new hives, skin rashes, itching. How long does Cipro last in the bloodstream? I am currently talking Prednisone and Benadryl to combat these side effects.

It really depends on your body and how long you were taking it. It shouldn't take more than a few days though, if it is longer than that, please speak to your doctor.

And for future reference on the ID of this pill, it is an antibiotic, Ciprofloxacin 500mgs.
