Rp 10 325 Causing Withdrawal Symptoms
UpdatedAt age 50, had to take pain meds for the 1st time in my life ourside of hospital surgical.procedures. Been on Percocet 10/325 for almost 2 yrs now, with NO increase in quantity prescribed. In fact, I TRY to NOT take unless really needed. This month I had my Rx filled at a pharmacy newly added to my insurance plan as is closer to my home. BIG MISTAKE! They filled my Rd with these RP 10 325 tablets. I hadn't taken a pill in 15 hrs when sent hubby to pharmacy. He brought these home & altho I'd not seen this particular generic, thought nothing of it. I've had at least 3 or 4 diff generics throughout the almost 2yrs, and altho I best like the yellow larger round pills (? I dunno name brand), they ALL do basically the same thing? Not these! I took my 1st pill in 17hrs and went to bed early, around 9pm, as I had vacuumed house and done laundry and was in significant amount of back pain. Well... I was WIDE awake at 3pm, twitching, sweating then chills and in overall anxious state. Only worsened as the hours have gone by. My family advised me that I appear 2b going thru withdrawals? Again, being on pain meds IS fairly new to me, I NEVER go thru my meds early and thus have never experienced withdrawals. But, it appears I am now! And i am MISERABLE! worse problem? Pharmacy closed today on Sunday and tmrw as its Memorial day. I am LIVID!
Summary: DO NOT fill ur Rd at ANY pharmacy that dispenses this med! Does NOT WORK AT ALL & DOES CAUSE WITHDRAWAL!!

Hi Noneya,
I'm so sorry to hear about your horrific experience with that inferior generic drug. How have you been feeling lately since the timing of your post?... Much better, I hope... It certainly seems as though quality control has been put on the back burner with many pharmaceutical companies nowadays, as they continue to spike prices and integrate cheaper formulas to retain profits - A purely selfish and nefarious act IMHO... At any rate, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your story here so other patients know what manufacturer to be aware of, because often times doctors and pharmacists don't provide any warnings before filling a prescription. It is in their best financial interest to give patients what the drug representative wants them to have, blindly ignoring concerns of ethical/honest treatment.
So true, I just took a RP 10/325 an hr ago, no relief at all, getting chills. I hope my pharmacy on 30 yrs will replace them with other long ones.
I get these debilitating migrsines. So bad that the ladt one i had i woke up in the hospital 2 days later and was told when i was found , there was blood coming out of my nose and ears. Ive been taking my friends oxycodone evèry once in a while, not wanting to get addicted.....again. she was out last time i had an episode, so she gave me a suboxen, which is put under The tongue to dissolve, and wow nelly. What a huge difference! I had headache relief for 2 days, maybe more ,off one of those things but for the life of me cant get up the courage to go to the doctor. What do i do with these kindd of symptoms, is it serious, and is taking suboxen for a headache even safe, even though its qyite more than just a headache ?
Yellow is alvogen, don't waste your time. I too had the oblong amneal for years but it's no longer available. Could pass food, clear headed, no issues...now everywhere is Rhodes. Horrible...very dizzy, absent-minded, and some muscle literally clenches your colon shut. No way...same as you within a few hrs (prescribed 1 every 6 hrs) go into full blown withdrawals. Shaking, muscle tremors, this stuff affects your nervous system. Far as I'm concerned its poison...and no Drs are allowed to really prescribe what patients need the bad apples ruin it and we pay. The GOOD thing that came of it was I discovered BuTrans patches. Mild, steady pain relief with little to no side effects at all...1 lasts a week. Little by little no more pills for me. Get your surgeries people, ins companies are going to stop covering this like Cigna...Jan 1. The epidemic you see in the news....can be solved by ins authorizing surgeries lots of these meds are going to crap. Pressure your ortho or complain to the ins commissioner if you're getting put off. Get free from these things and take your life back, good luck.
