Quitting Atorvastatin Cold Turkey
UpdatedI have run out of my prescription for Atorvastatin and had decided to start eating healthier and excercising. Unfortunately i cant afford to return to my doctor for advice on stipping the atorvastatin. Is it okay to stop Atorvastatin 10 mg cold turkey?

Hello, Hart16! How are you? What did you decide to do?
It would be best to consult your doctor, but stopping such a medication abruptly isn't actually considered dangerous. However, you may experience some withdrawal effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea.
