Quickest Way To Get Off Methadone

I would like to get off the methadone. Im sick of the clinic rules, the police watching people go in and out and the expense. I know chasing drugs is expensive but I want to switch to subs. I am on a 90 mg dose right now and want to go down quickly. If anyone has done this please inform me The clinic will lower me 5 mgs a month

What medicine are the best to use when quitting subutex? So I can get some sleep some ouers each night, and dont lie in bed for a long time and feel like I have aunts in my bones crawling around my body for a mounth. Anyone know what I meen and can help me? Thanks

Dear Shells Bells, I use 2 b on methadone b 4 I switched 2 suboxone. I was on 110mg and tapered down to 24mg. At the point of getting down to 24mg, I was withdrawing SO BAD that I ended up at my Dr office in tears. (Lucky enough that my Dr could prescribe suboxone.) I begged him 4 help, that's how bad it was. (4 me) he put me on suboxone that day. I'm not trying 2 discourage u or anything. Just letting u know what I went through. The main thing is 2 taper down SLOWLY. I guess when u feel ready, then u can go on suboxone. But, I would try 2 taper as low as u can, first. It will b less suboxone u will have 2 take. I've been on suboxone 4 awhile now, and, it certainly has helped me. It does help some what with pain, but, not as good as methadone. Let me know how u make out. GOOD LUCK!

Dear Bjorn Hemre, I heard that Tramadol works pretty good 4 people. U will need 2 get a prescription from your Dr 4 it. Sorry that u r going through that. GOOD LUCK!
