Quick End To Taking Estra Noreth

I have taken Estra Noreth for 4 yrs but due to a lag in filling the script have been off the meds for a week no symptoms should I begin again?

Hi, Lynnie! Are you still symptom free?

If you were taking it to treat the symptoms associated with menopause, then it's possible that your natural estrogen level has fallen low enough now that you may no longer experience them, which means the medication may no longer be necessary.

However, one week may not be long enough to know for sure, yet.

Have you discussed it with your doctor?

In many cases, when a woman is on HRT, they will have her take them for awhile, then take occasional breaks to see how she does without them.

I am taking Estra-Noreth .5/.1 mg - started taking them two weeks ago. I just noticed the days on the back of the package - am I supposed to take these in order of the days on the back? Or is every pill have the same amount of medication no matter what days on the back of the blister pack?
