My doctor gave me a perscription for ciprofloxin for a uti. I am on gildess fe 1/20 birth control and i am afraid the cipro will make my birth control less effective. I have been seeing mixed reviews so i need help please!

Yes, there is a chance that it could alter the efficacy of your contraceptive. This antibiotic can sometimes cause your liver to not process/absorb as much of the estrogen in them, which makes them less effective at preventing pregnancy.
