Is there a difference between this capsule prescribed by a vet and one prescribed by a physician?

No, this capsule contains 500mgs of the antibiotic Cephalexin and it is the same one that is available for humans to use.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
