Question About Using Opiates & Benzos

I currently use 25mcg fentanyl patches along with oxycodone 15mg. Would I be ok to take a 2mg xanax without dying?? I should add that I rarely use any benzo.

They can be taken together, if they've all been prescribed for you and approved by your doctor.

However, you may experience more drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and sedation than usual, as reported by the FDA. You should also know to watch for any possible danger signs, such as severe drowsiness, dizziness, shallow breathing and lowered heart rate.

Yes, I do have another question. First, I am not prescribed Xanax. Is it ok to mix Xanax and alcohol? A friend told me he took 4mg Xanax and a half pint of vodka and felt great. I've heard that mixing that much is fatal. So what's the truth??
