I have some that sound very similar to what you have I'm pretty sure that they are a pet wormer but I no longer have the package so I'm not sure the name.

Hi Elise,

Just to add a second opinion, I also found information relating a yellow and purple capsule (with no markings) to a pet dewormer product, prescribed by vets. Unfortunately I haven't come across any product or medication names, but perhaps taking it to a vet may be a good idea just to see if they recognize it as something they prescribe for deworming purposes.

If you're unable to trace them back to anything at this point, I would probably encourage you to discard the capsules since there are no other apparent markings that offer additional clues.
