I found a white oblong pill with AX 5306 on it, in my son's room. I just want to know what this pill is exactly and what is it taken for?

This tablet is manufactured by Apotex and they list it as containing 400mgs of Acyclovir.

This is an antiviral medication that is used to shorten the duration of herpes outbreaks or to help prevent future outbreaks. Its typical side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.
