Query - Thyronorm 100mcg

Hi doctor,

Yesterday I took my mom to the Doctor in Sri Rama Hospital. As my mom is suffering from thyroid doctor Sadanand suggested her to take Thyronorm 100mcg through out her life. So I asked him that there is any side effects caused by this tablet. So doctor became arrogant & he started telling me that he is professor in Ramaiah college, he know what medicine he has given etc...

1) I want to know whether the question asked by me to doctor is right or wrong.

2) Why did doctor show his arrogance on me?
