Q-Pap contains the active ingredient Acetaminophen, 160mgs per 5ml teaspoon and yes, it is used to treat pain and fever.

As to how often and how much to give, you should follow the instructions on the package, or those that were provided by his doctor.

The usual dosing is 1teaspoon every 6 to 8 hours, but that can vary depending on your child's health and the reason for the fever, so you should follow the instructions given.
