It is a white caplet, oval in shape, numbers on both sides, pvk 500 and on the flip side gg 950. There is a line in the middle that indicates the tablet can be broken in half.

I believe the imprint which you are referring to is actually gg 950 on the other side, because there is a known pill with the imprint PVK500 / GG950 just like what you're describing.
