I have two pills with the same P 039 imprints. They identify as purepac 2mg. Alprozam. What I can't figure out is why they don't look the same. The color is slightly different, but it is very noticeable when compared side by side. One is a brighter yellow and the other looks more orange. The brighter yellow pill is very similar in length, but it appears to be almost twice as tall next to the yellow/orange pill.

Did you mean the bar with the R 039 imprint?
If so, it seems those are just due to some differences in the manufacturing process, depending on which plant has manufactured that particular pill. The databases even have pictures of both to make sure people are aware that they have the same marking, contain the same thing, but do have some differences.
