Purchasing Marinol In Canada

I would like to know if it is possible for someone who has a prescription (and other documentation from a physician) to purchase Marinol at a Canadian pharmacy and also how much does a prescription cost (on average) in Canada? This in important information for a friend and I appreciate any and all information, thank you.

And no, if a medication is available in the U.S., under the law it must be obtained here, unless you were traveling at the time it was prescribed and had to get it filled where you were located.

Hi and thanks for your response. My friend had to go to some sort of arbitration between a judge and not sure if the other party was medical. In any event he was told that he would have to pay $5500 for a prescription. How can this be? He was getting it covered under his MediCal plan and they've thrown up this price prohibition. When I looked up the lowest prices for marinol in his zip code the prices were nowhere near $5500. I guess I would need more information from him, but if anybody out there has any information please let me know, thanks. And by the way he has been taking Marinol for pain and swelling due to a chronic condition with his feet.
