Purbac With Lagatrim

Can I take Lagatrim (Cotrimoxazole) in place of Purbac (Sulphamethoxazole,Trimethoprim) together with ARVs?

Both Lagatrim/Cotrimoxazole, and Purbac contain the same active ingredients, Sulfamethoxazole, and Trimethoprim, so they are interchangeable, as long as the dosage, and dosage frequency is the same.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, non-allergic skin rash, and headache.
