A friend of mine has recommended a combination of these two dogs that are sickly. Why the two together, Flagyl is the antibiotic but not sure what the purbac would combined with Flagyl.

My dog has a cough... Why was purbac and flagyl given for it? It sounds like he wants to vomit when he coughs.
