Purbac For Toddler (Top voted first)

I have a prescription of Purbac for my toddler ( 3 and a half years old ) with monocyte function that is low. Any information on this medicine with regards to low white blood count?

Purbac contains the active ingredients Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim, it is an antibiotic used to treat many types of infections.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.

Thanks for the info verwon. I see that a rash has started to form on his back. Possibly the medicine? does anyone have info on low white blood count? and a monocyte reactive test.?

Does purbac suspension contain lactose?
