Do I have to take purbac double strength the rest since I am hiv.

If it has been prescribed for you, you should finish the full course of treatment to make sure that you don't develop antibiotic resistant bacteria. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
