Purbac And Yasmin Contraceptive Pill

I'm currently on purbac antibiotic for my acne and it's been a month now but is it safe for me to use the contraceptive pill while I'm on the antibiotics

It isn't dangerous to take them both, but Purbac can reduce the efficacy of oral contraceptives, so you'll need to use another form of contraceptive, as long as your being treated with the Purbac.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Yasmin may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms.
