Prozac Increase In Dosage
UpdatedI've been on 20 mg for about 2 months now and was doing somewhat okay, but now have a lot of stress at work and i feel like I'm slipping backwards. I'm irritable and agitated more often again. I need to see my doctor for a follow up this week, should I ask her for an increase in mg? I really don't want to try another drug because Prozac is the safest and I don't want to feel like a zombie since I work in acting. I think i need more mg since 20 mg was working for awhile. Any suggestions will be helpful.

An increase in the dosage may be your best bet and it is usually something you can do temporarily, until the stress eases off and then go back down to your regular dosage.
A dosage increase will probably also increase the side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, headache and weight gain.
