20 years old with prostateitis and pain when I urinate only drug that has decreased pain is sulfamethoxazole doctor suggest I try this CIPROFLOXACIN but tried it before n still felt pain what should I take

You should follow your doctor's instructions on what to take to help resolve the issue. Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate that is commonly caused by bacteria and antibiotics are usually required.

Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
