Well, since it is just a multivitamin, there is no harm in taking it everyday, on a long-term basis, as long as you don't overdo it by taking more than you should. As to how long before it has an effect, this isn't something that is really studied, since they are supplements, rather than actual drugs. Beneficial effects won't happen overnight, but it will immediately start to improve your levels of the vital nutrients it contains.
