Promethazine Zc02 Overdose

My boyfriend took 4 (of the zc02) promethazine tablets. He is restless and can't sleep. He says he can't breath and that everything seems closed in. He doesn't want medical attention and I don't know what to do...

Hi Pam,

I'm so sorry to hear about the condition your boyfriend is in. How has everything been going since the timing of your post (5/6/2017)? -Much better I hope... Did you end up having to call poison control or take him into the local emergency room? I realize he didn't want medical attention so I'd just be curious to know how the situation was handled and if he's doing well now, as from what I understand, Promethazine reportedly has strong sedative effects.
