Prolonged Use Of Nexito Forte
My male friend aged nearly seventy years had two problems:(i) often bed wetting from boyhood till say 65, (ii) discomfort in sleeping while turning left on bed. He consulted renowned urologists, cardiologists and urologists and even psychiatrists and had tests. Prescriptions and advices of all failed. One old Medicine specialist prescribed Nexito Forte one tab at bedtime and that worked magically. He has been continuing Nexito Forte for more than four years and from the very first day of taking the medicine both the problems are absent. Now he leads a healthy life. Now the question is : Will the continuation of Nexito Forte create serious problem to him? If yes what is the alternative? Incidently, the user of the medicine is a renowned teacher in Psychology.

Sir, I am taking nexitoforte tablet one at bed time for the past six years.present days I have the problem like dizziness and weight gain though I restrict my food to max extent.apart from that I am a regular walker walking six kms a day.what could be done to stop it? I am 67 years old

Nexito Forte contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, it is an SSRI antidepressant.

And there can be risks associated with the long term use of any medication, but that would be relevant to all of them that he could try, not just this one. It's going to be something he'd face anyway, so there's probably no point in switching, as long as his doctor thinks he's doing fine on it.
