I had angioplasty on 16.6.11 and my doctor advised me to use prolomet XL 50mg for 2 years with Ecosprin 150mg for one year & Clopitab 75mg.

I am taking prolomet xl 50 mg and my heartbeat is at 90. Can I take prolomet xl 75 mg if I want a heartbeat of 72?

I'm using prolomet 50mg after breakfast and Lnblock 10mg after dinner every day. Can u please suggest a cheaper generic alternative for both of these medicines, with the same mechanism of action? Prolomet has a sustained action.
