Prolia Injection. April 7th
UpdatedThis was my 3 prolia injection, right away the worst arthritic attack wrists & hands, exzema head, eye involvement, very weak. blood work all over the place. have had 2 pancreatic attacks, 1 bowel blockage. Spent all my time resting no choice, finally in October felt a little stronger, able to walk around, no driving yet. I felt there was light at the end of the tunnel. November able to do groceries, small things but improvement. Then last week of November extreme weakness of the legs and arms unable to support myself, and my brain is off again hard to concentrate, I am feeling discouraged, when will I be OK. Everyone considering this drug please make sure you know all the side effects, I was told there were none. It is up to us to check for ourselves.

Hello, Danielle! How are you feeling? I am so sorry about what you've been through.
And yes, you're right. Everyone has to be their own advocate and research things on their own. Doctors don't study medications like pharmacists do, so they are not familiar with all the side effects. If they read something that states a medication is generally well tolerated, that's what they go by, but of course, that leaves out the details on those that do have bad side effects.
You aren't the first person to post about these types of problems and I'm quite certain you'll not be the last. However, from the experience of others, I can tell you that things usually do get better with time.
As to the drug, I'd suggest staying away from it and exploring your other treatment options.
Is there anything I can help with?
