I am very sorry about what you've experienced, Rose. How are you doing, now?
Side effects are a natural hazard of adding a chemical, of some type, to the body to try and correct a health problem. There are no medications that can ever be guaranteed to be side effect free. What you experienced can be normal side effects of this medication, according to FDA and NIH reports.
That doesn't mean your doctor was poisoning you, or doing anything wrong. They have no way of knowing how any medication may affect any given person that tries it.
