I had a miscarriage in December 2011. Miscarriage happened within 10-12 weeks of pregnancy. The first ultrasound after 7 weeks there was heartbeat and later on the 12 th month ultrasound did not reveal any ultrasound. the cause of the miscarriage could not be known after all the tests. I have conceived once again now. My wife has been using Progesterone Soft Gelatin Capsules - 200 MG.She is using it by keeping it in Vagina. It is of Rose in colour (packing), can she use the same capsule through ORAL (by mouth). i have conceived after 4yrs. my gynco has advised me to take susten 200mg capsules twice a day and susten 200mg injection weekly once. after 10 weeks she told she would taper it to once in 15 days. but some say this is a hormone & oil injection, not needed for normal pregrency. is there any side effects. please help me in this regard. ## Susten does contain the hormone Progesterone. it has various uses for women. Not having Periods so doctor suggested this tablet. My wife is 5.5 wks pregnant and she started bleeding since yest afternoon. We visited our doc last evening and he suggested Progestrone vaginal inserts, which we started administering once a day since last night. Her bleeding has increased since this morning and is bright red - no pains as yet. We consulted our doctor aging and he suggested to increase the dose of progesterone to twice daily and start Pause 500 twice daly. I started taking Letoval on days 2-6 days of my periods.Then I ovulated and started taking Susten 200 VT vaginally for 14 days. I didn't get my periods yet.
