I got my first period when I was 13 and have had very severe PMS since then including cramps, extreme irritability/anger and anxiety, headaches, backaches, sore and swollen breasts, insomnia, hot flashes, pretty much the worst of any symptom you can think of. Although all of these symptoms are difficult to deal with, I would take the physical symptoms over the emotional any day. The anxiety and irrational anger and temper and just overall intensity of my emotions around the week I begin PMSing is so severe. Other than that, my period has always been fairly regular, usually between 30-40 days i'll get it, sometimes longer if I'm under unusually high stress or not eating correctly. Due to the intense PMS, I began taking natural progesterone cream a couple of years ago but have nev...

How are you? It sounds like you have a hormonal imbalance, like your body just couldn't rebalance them on its own, after stopping. You are going to need to see a doctor, if you want to get this straightened out, so you can have a baby. You are likely not producing progesterone to stabilize the endometrial lining and are...

Hello! I'm 25 and my doctor prescribed this medication for me because I've been having a four week long menstrual cycle. I couldn't wait for the bleeding to stop so I went ahead and took the first pill but after reading the side affects I don't want to continue taking this medication. The thing that's freaking me out is that on the label is says "do not skip doses or discontinue" does anyone know what will happen if I just stop taking it? Will the bleeding get worse? Please help! ## Hello, Desiree! How are you doing? This contains a form of Progesterone, which it vital to a normal menstrual cycle, so your doctor prescribed this to help rebalance your hormones and get the bleeding to stop. Yes, stopping it like that could worsen the bleeding. What side effects...

can iron polysacharide complex capsule make me get my period back? ## HI, Fahy! How are you? No, this is just an iron supplement that can help treat or prevent anemia, but it will not cause you to start your menstrual cycle. If you are having a problem with yours, you need to consult a doctor to get a proper diagnosis on what's causing the issue and find the proper solution. Most times it's caused by a hormonal imbalance, such as a lack of estrogen or progesterone. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My son is taking medicine for primary complex... is it ok to take multivitamins with lysine and iron, to be specific incremin syrup (vitamins).... once I read in the internet that it is ok to take that kind of vitamins, but now I'm confused because of what I have read a w...

So I just had a baby two months ago and have been patiently waiting for my period to start and it has yet to come, I'm a mother of two and dnt want any more kids so I'm planning on getting my tubes tied but can't until my cycle starts. I called my doc and he put me on 200 mg of progesterone for a 12 day period to induce my cycle. My question is how long does it usually take to start ur period after taking this medicine? ## Hello, Mamushka! How are you? You should start within a day or two of finishing the Progesterone. It is generally a sudden drop off of it that starts your cycle. Where do you live? In the U.S. this procedure is often done immediately after giving birth, with no waiting for a cycle required.

I have undergone a procedure for an 80% blockage in the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery, and I am currently taking Statin 40mg and Clopilet A 75mg daily. I am 51 years old and experiencing irregular menstrual cycles with heavy bleeding. Could these symptoms be side effects of the medication I am taking? ## It is most likely due to the hormonal imbalances that occur with perimenopause, which are the years leading up to actual menopause. Have you consulted your doctor? They can do blood work to check and see if that is the case. But this type of thing does normally occur for awhile, before a woman actually hits menopause, then becomes post-menopausal. At this time, you usually stop ovulating, so you aren't producing as much progesterone as you used to, but you still pro...

found capsule, its oblong pink on one side and deep red (maroon0 on other ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then we can rule it out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means that this is most likely some type of over the counter product. Where did you find it? Some products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. ## It's a study capsule, perhaps estrogen ans progesterone

This type of Progesterone is different from the synthetic forms in birth control and many forms of synthetic HRT (hormone replacement therapy) used for menopause. The word "Micronized" is used to describe how it is formulated with oil, which, when taking caps...

I've been suffering from severe period pains, which also include vomitting and loss of apetite, for the past decade. I've even been admitted into hospital for the condition but I still didn't get any results. So decided to do some research on what I can do to stop them since they disrupt my daily life. All sites I visited advised me to keep away from foods containing gluten, now my concern is that some websites said that odimune has gluten in it. Please advise whether I should stop taking the drug as well, if yes which one can I use. And if you there is another possible solution to my period pain problem please let me know ## Have you ever tried taking a hormonal contraceptive for a few months to see if that helps? I am 29 yrs old, have 4yrs old baby.have irregular period. I have missed my regestrone tablet yesterday evening ,and today morning .at the night time i take 2 tablet. Is this work on me? I want to get pregnant ## Hello, Chaitali! How are you? You really need to make sure to take this every day, according to your doctor's instructions. For this to help increase your chances of pregnancy, the level of the hormone in your system needs to remain regular and constant for awhile. Taking it for a few days and then missing a tablet could induce the start of your period and, if you had gotten pregnant, a sudden drop in progesterone could cause a miscarriage. Is there anything else I can help with? ## hello mam, i am 20 years old. my periods is irregular and i am single. i have read the query...

Hi I Am A 40 Years Lady Living In Los Angeles Ca. After My Last Period, Two Weeks Later, my period Came Early Now Like Almost 3 Week I am in period. Which Medicine do I have to take it, or what shoud I do? ## Hi, Farivita! I'm sorry you're having such an issue, I'm very close to your age, so I do understand how annoying that can be. Since you are 40 now, there's a very good chance that you've entered into perimenopause, which is when your reproductive cycle starts to wind down in preparation for full menopause. Perimenopause can start as early as 35 and may last as long as 10 or 11 years. We usually follow the same pattern as our mother's, so if you can you may want to ask your mom when she went into full menopause, because that means your perimenopause should st...

I have taken tab regesteron for 3 days.when i expect my period ## @rhkb, Based on your description, it sounds like either medication could be the cause for having your periods. Generally with contraceptives there are two or three different colored pills that you're supposed to take on specific days to alter the timing of your cycle. However in this particular case, you may have to speak with a gynecologist for more information on why it didn't work in...

I have been on the implant for over a year I had it taken out in April 2013 to start for a baby but its been 6 month now and haven't had a period I have been to the doctors for so many tests and all have come back fine I've tried all the tips on line ie taking vitamin c 3000mg to start my period and still nothing I was wondering if they is anything else I can do to start my period? ## Hello, Col! Sorry about the problem that you're having. Have they checked your hormone levels? It sounds like you may not be naturally producing them right now. Estrogen is needed to build the endometrial lining, then progesterone stabilizes it and the sudden drop off of it is what causes your period to start. There are both synthetic and natural forms of Progesterone available that your doctor...
